1500m World Champion Visiting Bristol
2022 World 1500m Champion Jake Wightman to Visit Bristol’s Newest Running Store, Kinisi Run Hub
Kinisi Run Hub, 2 Imperial Arcade, East Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4HH, 22nd September 2024
World 1500m champion Jake Wightman, who claimed the title in 2022, will be making a special appearance at Kinisi Run Hub, Bristol’s newest specialty running store, just a month after its grand opening.
Kinisi Run Hub offers a state-of-the-art running experience, featuring a synthetic athletics track surface sourced from the Glasgow World Athletics Indoor Championships 2024. The store provides a unique shoe-fitting service, analysing data gathered by advanced foot-scanning technology that captures both photos and videos of the foot’s movement to help customers find their perfect shoe.
Founded by former GB and Scotland international athlete Jamie Williamson, Kinisi Run Hub is a true family business. Jamie is supported by his father, Graham Williamson, who finished 4th in the 1982 Commonwealth Games and raced alongside legends like Steve Cram and Seb Coe. His mother, Carole Williamson (née Bradford), grew up racing for Clevedon AC and is a two-time world road race bronze medallist.
Wightman’s appearance at the store is scheduled for 22nd September 2024. He will be available for an open drop-in session from 13:00-15:00, followed by a 90-minute Q&A session for ticketed guests.
This exciting visit marks a special occasion for both Kinisi Run Hub and the local running community, as Wightman will share his experiences and insights in a friendly, accessible setting.
For more information, or to reserve a spot for the Q&A session, please email move@kinisirunhub.co.uk or phone 0117 363 5944.
