Sixes Social Cricket Bristol: A Night of Sport, Socialising & Networking
On 2 September, Sixes Social Cricket in Bristol hosted an extraordinary Party Cricket Networking Night, drawing over 100 business owners into an evening of sport, cocktails, and connection.
Co-hosted by Your Partnerships and Elite Club, the event featured cricket-themed socialising powered by high-tech batting nets, welcome drinks, delicious sharing plates, friendly competition, venue tours, and prize giveaways.

At the heart of the evening was event organiser Jess Sleep, whose energy and attention to detail ensured everything ran seamlessly. She brought people together, set the tone for collaboration, and made sure every guest felt welcome. Alongside her, Mr David Brock, founder of Your Partnerships, attended with his team, sharing his passion for connecting business leaders. Reflecting on the evening’s success, Mr Brock remarked, “Networking is an integral element to running a business—and this event at Sixes Social Cricket Bristol, with over 70 people that attended, proves that Bristol is one of the thriving areas in the UK.” This sentiment certainly resonated in the warm, collaborative atmosphere.
Sixes Social Cricket: From Novel Idea to Bristol Harbour
Sixes originated as a creative fusion of cricket, dining, and social interaction. Co-founded by Scots Calum Mackinnon and Andy Waugh, the first Sixes opened in Fulham in December 2020. the concept gained rapid popularity, pioneering what’s now referred to as competitive socialising—high-energy, activity-led venues combining sport, food, drinks, and hospitality.
Today, Sixes boasts around 18 UK locations with plans for further domestic and international expansion. Notably, investment support came from high-profile cricket figures including Ben Stokes and Stuart Broad, among others.
Sixes venues cater to all ages and abilities: their tech-enabled batting nets offer immersive gameplay, with adjustable styles—from seam to spin—set in vibrant bar-restaurant settings. This inclusive, visually striking setup attracts both seasoned fans and novices alike.

Sixes Bristol: Harbourside’s Cricket Party Hub
Launched on 14 October 2024, Sixes Bristol occupies a prime Harbourside location at Bordeaux Quay, above Coyote Ugly. Designed to reflect both Bristol’s energetic cultural scene and cricketing traditions, the venue blends three cricket nets, four game modes, five challenge levels (no experience required), plus stylish interiors, late-night music, big-screen sports, gourmet burgers, cocktails, and shareable plates.
Due to strong demand, it expanded in February 2025 by adding a fourth batting net, boosting capacity to host up to 140 batters simultaneously—ideal for group bookings and private hires.
The Bristol venue also offers themed promotions and entertainment, such as Kids Eat Free during half term, Student Sundays with post-5 pm discounts, and live Six Nations rugby coverage—further establishing it as a community hub beyond cricket.
Sixes is equally known as an excellent networking venue in Bristol. It replaces the typical stiff mixer with energetic, interactive ice-breakers—batting challenges, flowing drinks, private spaces, and lively atmospheres that spark natural connection.
