The Invisible Circus Returns to Bristol Spectacularly
After packing out the venue in September, The Invisible Circus has announced a second run for their iconic Renegade Fabulon cabaret.
The show lands at Bristol’s Prospect Building on Thursday 19 November 2026, featuring a fresh lineup of performers.
More than two decades after making its debut, the anarchic production that originally put The Invisible Circus on the map is back to bring audiences another dose of pure stage chaos, high-flying stunts, and mischief.

A Brand-New Cast for November
The upcoming autumn show brings together a whole new roster of talent. Taking to the stage this time around are Eve Lindsay, Rowen K, The Balance Boy, Michelle Savage, Safia of Movement Medicine, and Trystan Chambers Circus. Each artist brings their own style to the production, making it a distinct experience whether you caught the previous date or are stepping into the tent for the first time.
The roots of the show trace all the way back to 2002, emerging from the mud and madness of Glastonbury’s Lost Vagueness field. From there, the production toured globally across a decade of travels before culminating at Burning Man in 2005. It became a cornerstone of the UK’s alternative cabaret revival and cemented The Invisible Circus as one of the country’s most visionary immersive performance crews.
Transforming The Prospect Building
Once again, the cavernous industrial backdrop of The Prospect Building will turn into a living playground for aerial acts, live music, and fearless entertainment. As always, it will be served up with the trademark sense of fun that fans expect from The Invisible Circus.
Reflecting on the return, Artistic Director Doug Francis said:
“Bringing the show back after so long was an absolute thrill, and the crowd’s energy in September gave us everything we could have asked for. There is a real spark in seeing that blend of creativity, freedom, and madness come alive again with a mix of familiar faces and new acts.
“We don’t do things by halves. Once the first date sold out, repeating the experience was an easy decision. The Prospect Building suits this style of performance down to the ground, and we’re ready to throw another night to remember.”

Marking 30 Years of Independent Culture
The show lands during a landmark double milestone year. This year marks 30 years of The Invisible Circus, running alongside 20 years of its sister group, Artspace Lifespace. Over three decades, both teams have specialized in taking unused or neglected Bristol buildings and turning them into creative community spaces.
Despite losing their primary creation space, The Invisible Circus keeps finding new places to stage bold productions, keeping the city’s independent creative spirit alive.
With tickets for the September run selling out fast, anyone planning to catch the November date is advised to book early.
