The Bristol Fashion Show is back for 2023

The Bristol Fashion Show team is excited to announce their 2023 Show at The Mount Without. Showcasing the very best of Bristol’s vibrant independent artists.

. It is a celebration of Bristol’s incredible talents of fashion designers, photographers, hair stylists, make-up artists, models and more. TBFS believe that Bristol has a lot to offer, and that raw talent needs promotion and exhibiting on the highest stage. We believe in investment in the local people and talent that has built, and continues to thrive in this great city. It is a collaboration of creatives that strives to wow and inspire you.

Our mission is to create a diverse and passionate community in which everyone has a voice. We provide individuals of all ages and backgrounds with the opportunity to showcase their talents and really get involved in an inclusive community spirited event. WHAT’S ON OFFER? A two hour show with catwalk of multi-culture fashion, colour, music and dance. Over 19 Designers and Artist showing their creations. Come with an open heart and prepare yourself to be surprised, inspired and wowed. From hat wear and sustainable clothes, Indian fashion and tie dye, children’s and dance wear to crochet, “the Arts and Crafts Project” for young people of African and Caribbean descent as well as Flamenco dancing by Farida. We are happy and proud to announce that award winning singer, rapper and songwriter Gigi Tenase will once again perform for us. DJ Stretch will accompany us through the event.

THE HISTORY The togetherness and community spirit at Coexist at Hamilton House inspired the dream of one fashion designer to create a show that would bring people together and Coexist provided the platform. Since 2009 TBFS have hosted many events in various venues such as Hamilton House, Ashton Court and The Mount Without. Each show held their own values, inspiring more and more people as they progressed by building confidence, growing friendships and bringing people together who share a similar passion. OUR CHARITY 2023 This year The Bristol Fashion Show will donate £2.00 of each ticket sold to Cure4Carmela run by Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK). In 2019 Carmela walked our catwalk for the first time aged only 5 years old. Living with muscular dystrophy she absolutely nailed it. We are proud that we could make her wish to be a model come true and we cannot wait to have Carmela join us again this year for the third time. We are even more excited to be having her as our 2023 charity. We want to drive an awareness of muscular dystrophy and help support Carmela as much as we can. Please show your support and join us in raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK so that more research into this condition can happen. Let’s stand up to Muscular Dystrophy together.
