BLUE MOON INDEPENDENT SHORT FILM SCREENING IN BRISTOL
Short film screening, 27th September @ 6pm @ IMAX Screen, Bristol Aquarium
Film enthusiasts and supporters of local talent are invited to a unique and exclusive one-night-only event celebrating the creativity and storytelling powers of our community’s filmmakers. On the 27th September, the independent film community Tabb will host a series of independent short films and documentaries crafted by local filmmakers. This event promises an unforgettable evening of cinematic artistry, providing a platform for emerging voices in the film industry.
The event will feature a diverse selection of short films and documentaries, all of which showcase the depth and range of talent within our community. This exclusive premiere offers attendees a rare opportunity to experience these works on the big screen, many of which are being shown publicly for the first time.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the filmmakers during a Q&A session following the screenings, offering insight into their creative processes and the inspiration behind their works. Additionally, the event will include a networking reception, allowing guests to connect with the filmmakers and other industry professionals.
Featured Films Include:
● A Sin de Fella – Directed by Sheryn Yidi this documentary film brings together the queer community of Bristol, where Christo makes sure every cabaret show is unforgettable.
● Mission Plan – A comedy by Ashley Porciuncula about a troop of soldiers in WW2 who find themselves sceptical when their commanding officer unveils a new strategy
● Hippo– Jason Baily. An intimate dinner party, red in tooth and claw.
● The School System – Directed by Haleem Clift. A drama questioning our educational system
● Slow Down – Directed by Ornella Hawthorn Gardez. A drama based on real events about a mother’s concern for her daughter when she doesn’t return from a night out.
● Tarn – A Sci Fi directed by Merlin Goldman -An artist living in a dystopian future where the air can kill you, struggles to live a satisfying existence of purely survival.
