Bristol Pride announces Drag Race icon Trinity the Tuck for 2026

RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Trinity the Tuck joins the main Pride Day on Saturday 11 July alongside Sister Sledge, Jason Donovan and Catrin Feelings

 

RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar and All Stars winner Trinity the Tuck is the latest name to join Bristol Pride’s line-up for its 2026 festival, taking to the Cabaret Stage on Pride Day at The Downs on Saturday 11 July.

One of the most celebrated queens in Drag Race history, Trinity the Tuck rose to international fame on season nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race before winning RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 alongside Monét X Change, securing her place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Known for her polished glamour, razor-sharp comedy and iconic performances, Trinity remains one of the franchise’s most beloved global stars and will make a major addition to this year’s Bristol Pride line-up.

Trinity joins the festival following the withdrawal of previously announced performer Myki Meeks, who is no longer able to appear due to filming commitments following her recent win on the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The Cabaret Stage, widely regarded as one of the best Pride cabaret stages in the UK, will also feature RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist Catrin Feelings alongside more than 30 drag, cabaret and performance artists from Bristol and across the UK. Performers include Mariana Trench, Tailor Maid Colby, Crip Ladywood, Miss Dynasty, Polly Glamorous, Frankie Heartless, Tess Drive, Spank, Kitten Fleek, Elissa Cortez and Burt Lash, alongside immersive performances from Pom Pom’s Playhaus.

Beyond Pride Day, Bristol Pride’s two-week festival programme will once again transform venues across the city with a huge range of events celebrating LGBTQ+ culture, performance and community. Highlights include Pride Circus Night at Circomedia on Thursday 2 July, bringing together internationally acclaimed LGBTQ+ circus performers for a specially curated evening of aerial performance, comedy and cabaret.

The Bristol Pride Ceilidh returns to Bristol Beacon on Friday 3 July, with queer ceilidh trio BEARPIT leading a night of live music, dancing and celebration designed to welcome everyone from seasoned dancers to complete beginners. Queer Vision Film Festival will also present a special 30th anniversary screening of cult classic The Birdcage at the Megascreen on Saturday 4 July, celebrating one of cinema’s most enduring queer comedies.

On Pride Day itself, festivalgoers can expect a huge celebration across multiple stages and festival areas. Disco icons Sister Sledge headline the Main Stage, joined by Jason Donovan – who recently appeared in Kylie Minogue’s Netflix tell-all ‘Kylie’ – in the festival’s beloved Afternoon Legend slot, alongside Black Box, Chloe Qisha and Kelly Llorena.

Elsewhere across the site, Bristol Pride’s Circus Tent will once again showcase diverse queer circus and cabaret talent in partnership with SCRiTch, Queer AF Cabaret and DTYM, celebrating boundary-pushing performance from across the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s programme includes standout acts from Queer AF Cabaret alongside SCRiTch favourites Eyre and Rojo Mojo, whose unique blend of circus, comedy and chiptune-inspired “Nintendub” music has earned them cult status on the alternative performance circuit.

Festivalgoers can also explore the Dance Stage showcasing a wide range of local performers and dance styles, alongside the Family Area, Youth Area, Community Area and Sensory Calm Space, reflecting Bristol Pride’s ongoing commitment to accessibility, inclusion and representation across the festival.

This year’s programme is one of our biggest and most diverse yet, from major international artists and drag superstars to community-led events, circus, film and live performance happening across the city. Bristol Pride continues to be a space for celebration, visibility, protest and joy, and we can’t wait to bring people together again this summer.”

Bristol Pride runs from Saturday 27 June to Sunday 12 July 2026, culminating in Pride Day on Saturday 11 July with the Parade March through the city centre before celebrations continue on The Downs.

As one of the UK’s largest Pride festivals, general admission starts from just £18.50 for over 10 hours of entertainment from over 200 artists. Pride subsidises ticket prices and offers concessions to ensure Pride remains financially accessible to everyone.
