The award-winning Bath Christmas Market returns from Thursday 23rd November to Sunday 10th December 2023. Walk through a winter wonderland and soak up the festive atmosphere in the historic city of Bath. With chalets nestled amongst iconic monuments and mulled wine on every corner, embrace the start of the Christmas season and make memories that are sure to last a lifetime.
A wonderful mix of artisan makers
Bath Christmas Market is known for being the festive home of artisans, attracting some of the best makers from the Southwest and beyond. Joined by over 200 incredible traders across the 18-day spectacular, there’s bound to be something for everyone. This year you can pick up everything from skincare to scotch eggs whilst soaking up some of the festive atmosphere.
This year there will be even more opportunities to discover new and unique businesses. Out Our Christmas Carts, situated on Green Street, are the home to a selection of micro-businesses looking to try their hand at market trading for a short period of time. Many of the makers are just launching their businesses and offer something that has never been at Bath Christmas Market before.
Lighting up the city
As well as the market to explore, the city’s favourite streets will also be awash with festive joy once again this year. Take some time to wander around the streets of Bath and see the city glow. Monuments such as the Roman Baths and of course Bath Abbey will be a multitude of festive hues to add a wonderful ambiance to the city.
Scrumptious food and drink
Whilst you’re here, make sure to sample some of your favourite winter warmers. Discover a selection of wonderful caterers that offer something special to keep you toasty while you’re walking round. We have caterers for a range of dietary requirements including specific outlets dedicated to vegan and gluten free guests.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a tipple of two! Mauritzo and Anna, our resident mulled beverage experts, will be returning for his their 21st Bath Christmas Market where they’ll be lining the streets with the scent of mulled wine and warm apple juice. Looking for something a little colder? Discover our prosecco and gin bar at the heart of the market; the perfect spot to people-watch with a festive tipple in hand!
