Bristol-based nursery named as one of the top 20 Day Nurseries in the South West

Avon Valley Nursery & Preschool – named in top 20 of 1,237 nurseries in the South West – soon to expand with more places

 

Less than a year after its opening, Avon Valley Nursery and Preschool has won the prestigious Top 20 Rated Day Nursery Award, named as one of the top 20 nursery schools in the South West.

 

The Day Nursery Awards recognise 20 of the top-ranked nurseries in each UK region, with Avon Valley named as one of only two that are Bristol-based in the South West category. The review scores have put Avon Valley Nursery and Preschool in the top 20 of 1,237 nurseries in the South West.

Opening in August 2023, Avon Valley Nursery & Preschool is a unique child care facility in Keynsham, offering a varied range of both indoor and outdoor activities to help children learn and develop through hands-on experiences and play. Situated on the unique Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park, it has been purposely designed to enhance every aspect of a child’s early learning experience.

 

Following the success, demand for the nursery has grown. As such, it is set to expand this summer, with 20 more places available and more baby spaces on offer from January 2025. The nursery, which has unlimited access to the main Avon Valley park, offers diverse play and animal interaction. With its own private garden, sensory areas, vegetable plots, mud kitchens and more, Avon Valley Nursery & Preschool caters for both indoor and outdoor activities, with plenty of space for messy and sensory play.

Split across two floors, it provides babies from three months and children over two with their own space to explore crafts, roleplay, reading and soft play.
