A Selection Box of Festive Treats Improv has a reputation for being a little bit different. So this year, the Bristol Improv Theatre are embracing their uniqueness and shaking things up for Christmas 2023! Rather than one big show, They’re spreading festive cheer across a whole host of regular shows, some very special visiting acts and some brand new events from our local pals.

It’s like a giant selection box, bursting with live, improvised goodness. You’re sure to find something you love (and don’t worry, there won’t be a single leftover bounty in sight). From heartwarming scenes and silliness to hilarious comedy antics, musical numbers to dramatic who-dunnits. Featuring:

● Dragprov Revue Christmas Special – Dazzling drag double act ‘Christian Adore’ and ‘Eaton Messe’ serve you wit as sharp as their contour; jinks as high as their brows and memories that will stick with you longer than last night’s glitter.

● I Saw Mommy Killing Santa Claus – A festive Ho Ho wHodunnit from Degrees of Error (the local improv veteran behind the highly popular improvised murder mystery, ‘Murder, She Didn’t Write’)

● The Show The Must Not Be Named – a never-before-seen adventure set in the wizarding world, suitable for all ages and magical abilities. Plus, look out for fabulous festive twists on stalwart flagship shows,

This Is Your Musical, Tales of Adventure and The Bish Bosh Bash! And if you’re still hungry for more, Up The Antics New Year’s Eve Party will be bringing in the new year in style! So whether you’re a die-hard Improv fan or just looking for something fun and different to do this holiday season, come to the Bristol Improv Theatre for a night of laughter and festive cheer. An Update on our Ticket Prices We understand that right now, times are tough for a lot of people. It’s important to us that everyone who wants to attend our shows is able to do so as easily as possible and is welcomed with open arms. Therefore, we’ve introduced a new open concession ticket price capped at £10 for all of our Christmas shows and beyond.

If you’d like to come to a show but the standard ticket price is a bit of a stretch, please feel free to book a concession ticket, no questions asked. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Bristol Improv Theatre!
