BillyChip®, the social enterprise scheme supporting rough sleepers, will be taking part in the CEO Sleepout in Bristol.

Martin Roberts, a keen supporter of BillyChip has been named CEO Sleepout Ambassador for Bristol ahead of the event. In 2022 Martin raised over £3,000 for BillyChip after announcing his support for the scheme.

The BillyChip team will join over 25 other business leaders for the event at Gloucestershire Cricket Club on Monday 11th November. CEO Sleepout will see business leaders, business owners and senior execs from Bristol and the surrounding area sleep outside overnight to raise money and awareness of homelessness and poverty.

Since being established in 2013, CEO Sleepout has held events at venues across the country, including Wembley Stadium, St James’ Park Newcastle, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, The Alnwick Garden and Lord’s Cricket Ground. In total the initiative has raised over £3.8 million for charity.

Jon Hope, Co-Founder at BillyChip, shared: “We’re really proud to be working with Martin and taking part in this important local initiative once again, to raise awareness of homelessness. Sleeping rough and facing homelessness has become a sad reality for so many people, particularly in the light of the economic climate in the past few years. With the winter months approaching we’ll continue to keep the conversation about homelessness in people’s minds.”
