M&S Confirms Opening Date for New Flagship Store in Bristol’s Cabot Circus

M&S has announced Thursday 13th November as the grand opening date for its brand-new flagship store at Cabot Circus, right in the heart of Bristol city centre.

Spanning an impressive 80,000 square feet over three floors, the new full-line store will showcase the very best of M&S Food, Fashion, Home and Beauty.

Shoppers can look forward to a 17,000 sq ft market-style foodhall, complete with an in-store bakery, fresh produce from M&S Select Farms (including over 1,200 based here in the South West), and the retailer’s popular sandwiches, salads and wraps — ideal for the city’s lunchtime crowd.

There’ll also be a 200-seat M&S Coffee Shop, serving up freshly cooked breakfast rolls, toasties, wraps, and barista-made coffee using the brand’s Roast & Ritual fairtrade house blend — plus a tempting range of iced drinks.

In the fashion department, customers will find one of M&S’s largest beauty sections in the UK, featuring both M&S favourites and big-name brands like Clinique and Estée Lauder. The store will also offer the latest Autograph Autumn/Winter collection and a stylish kidswear range known for M&S’s trademark quality.

The opening of the Bristol Cabot Circus store is part of a £300 million national investment, with 16 new M&S stores set to open this year — including one at Bath’s SouthGate.

The Bristol store will create over 100 new jobs, with roles still available in customer service, the Coffee Shop, visual merchandising and warehouse operations.”

Marks & Spencer’s connection to Bristol runs deep — the retailer first opened a stall in the city back in 1900.
