Bristol’s Krazy Races: Racing for Fun & Children’s Hospice South West!

The UK’s largest touring Soapbox Derby, Krazy Races, is rolling into town on Sunday, 7th September 2025!

This will be the very first Bristol edition, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic day full of fun, excitement, and community spirit.

Over 40 teams from local businesses, charities, and groups will race their homemade, gravity-powered soapbox cars, each one more creative and colorful than the last. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Team, Most Creative Kart, and of course, the fastest racers.

A special part of this event is its support for the amazing work of Children’s Hospice South West. This wonderful charity provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. By taking part or attending, you’re helping to raise awareness and funds for their incredible services, making a real difference in the lives of local families.

The day also features fairground rides, live entertainment, and plenty of family-friendly activities, ensuring fun for all ages.

Here’s the schedule for the day:

9:00 am – Gates open
11:00 am – Morning races begin
1:00 pm – Lunch break
2:00 pm – Afternoon races
3:30 pm – Third run
4:00 pm – Final race for the top 10 fastest teams
4:30 pm – Prize giving and awards ceremony
6:00 pm – Gates close
