Community-powered run club kicks off summer of fitness-meets-festival fun at Ashton Court

In just one week’s time, Bristol-based run collective Ravers2Runners (R2R) will launch their second annual summer festival series with a high-energy, community-driven run into the heart of Love Saves The Day.

Returning to Ashton Court on Thursday 22 May, the vibrant crew of runners and ravers will assemble 100 participants for a 5K(ish) evening run. The route will finish inside the Love Saves The Day site for an exclusive first look at the production, followed by a celebratory drink. This unique activation fuses movement, music and community, marking the official start of the 2025 Ravers2Runners Summer Series.

The Love Saves run isn’t just a warm-up for the weekend ahead, it also raises funds for Big Team CIC, the charitable arm of the festival’s organisers, who work year-round to support young people into music and events careers through outreach and education.

Launched in 2019, Ravers2Runners has gained a cult following among those seeking balance between nightlife and wellbeing. With weekly run meetups in Bristol, London and Wokingham and signature events at Glastonbury, Amsterdam Dance Event and more, the group has inspired thousands to reframe the way they party and connect.

Ed Jenkins, founder of Raves to Runners, said: “It’s the perfect way to connect with like-minded people, set positive intentions for the weekend and see the festival in a whole new light. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just coming for the vibes, this one’s for you.”

What’s Next: R2R Summer Tour Dates

Following Love Saves The Day, Ravers2Runners will pop up at major festivals and city takeovers across the UK and Europe this summer — including their new signature event Get Free x Techno Therapy, a daytime clubbing experience with zero pressure to get intoxicated.
