Arrival of the Multitel MZ350 heralds new heights for commercial cleaning specialist

Bristol-based exterior surface cleaning business OneFifty is a national leader and pioneer.

 

Whether maintaining commercial buildings or removing unwanted graffiti, the team’s in-depth knowledge, vast experience and superior cleaning solutions – underpinned by competitive rates and outstanding customer service – has seen the business go from strength-to-strength.

 

Now, with the arrival of the world’s most advanced truck-mounted platform, the Multitel Plagiero MZ350, the business is set to take its services and operations to the next level.

 

From the start, founding directors Max and Andy Morris were determined to raise the bar in the UK by offering superior cleaning services to those typically available. They consistently invested in leading tools and solutions, and the business flourished. More and more complex, high-profile projects were tendered and won, with many requiring high-level access equipment such as truck-mounted platforms.

 

A first of its kind in the UK, OneFifty’s MZ350 is perfect for bigger and more challenging projects.

 

Originally, OneFifty rented the equipment, but this meant a lack of flexibility and higher costs. So, in 2021 the business purchased its first Multitel Plagiero MZ250 and added a second soon after in 2023.

 

The decision proved a gamechanger, as director Andy Morris points out, ‘Owning the machines meant not only could we confidently take on more complex contracts, but also that we could be far more flexible and responsive and offer our clients better rates.’ The MZ250s even raised additional revenue, with the two machines being made available to rent.

Thereafter, the business continued its upward trajectory, and it was only a matter of time before the industry’s elite truck-mounted platform, the MZ350, was added to the fleet.

 

Andy continues, ‘The MZ350 moves the dial, developing our capabilities and supporting our growth. There are only two in-house in the UK, so this investment sets us apart. With its superior outreach, the larger machine is perfect for tackling bigger and more challenging projects.

 

 

Now, we can take on any scale of contract no matter how large or complex – and we won’t stop there. We’ll continue to invest in new equipment and technologies, and enhance our focus on sustainability, to ensure we remain at the leading edge of our industry.
