Celebrating Bristol’s Voluntary Sector: The Bristol Social Impact Awards Are Back.
· The prestigious awards ceremony (formally named The Voscurs) will return on Thursday 12th November 2026
· 10 available awards will be given out to celebrate amazing community-driven work happening locally.

The Bristol Social Impact Awards are back, presenting a great opportunity to celebrate the people that strive to make Bristol a great place to live, work and volunteer. Beyond recognizing local heroes, the awards bring our city’s vibrant community together – offering a unique space to network, connect with like-minded changemakers, and draw inspiration from the powerful stories transforming our neighborhoods.
The awards are hosted by Voscur, which is an infrastructure organisation supporting the local voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector. Voscur provides 1-2-1 support to groups and organisations, work with local government and community investors to help the sector, bring community organisations together through various networks and work to ensure that under-represented communities are connected to decision-making and services.
At our last Bristol Social Impact Awards in 2024 Voscur received just under 300 nominations from people in the local community, highlighting the scale of innovative and dedicated work taking place. These nominations were reviewed by a panel of representatives (and award sponsors) from the business, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE), and public sectors with expertise in each category, to decide on the winners for each award.
Voscur CEO Rebecca Mear will be on stage during the awards ceremony, and expects the event to be an opportunity to give recognition to amazing work happening locally:
“We are aiming to shine a light on to the incredible people across Bristol who are driving forward real change for their communities and the city. It is important that we celebrate how powerful our communities here in Bristol are, to recognise the unimaginable dedication and commitment that everyone who has been nominated gives to better our society.
Our VCSE sector here in Bristol is truly vibrant, innovative, and community-driven, and we have so much of which we can be proud, collectively”
